With CC Strikers and Pittwater in a strong lead in the men’s premier league the remaining teams will have their chance to fight their way to the top as the competition sees itself back to the start.
This weekend will see the teams face their round one opponent once again as they compete in round 12 of the competition.
After nine matches CC Strikers and Pittwater are sitting safely at the top of the ladder on 25 and 23 points, respectively.
The middle of the ladder is a much closer contest with Curl Curl in third place on 14 points, followed closely by Wakehurst FC on 13 points to round out the top four.
Mosman and Beacon Hill are sitting just outside the top four by one point whilst Narrabeen FC are in 7th place on 11 points.
Round one back in March saw tight contest to start the season, however this Saturday every team will be out to prove they have what it takes to win the premiership.
With CC Strikers and Pittwater entering the weekend undefeated their opponents will be looking to break their winning streaks.
After a close 2-1 loss to Pittwater in round one, BTH might be the first team to take three points away from Pittwater. Whilst Mosman will have the same difficult challenge against CC Strikers.
Harbord will be looking for a win against Forest Killarney after going down 3-2 in round one whilst Beacon Hill will be aiming for another victory against St Augustines.
Brookvale on the other hand will be seeking revenge after a previous 4-0 loss to Wakehurst while Curl Curl and Narrabeen will be battling it out once again after a close 1-0 victory to Curl Curl back in March.
With these match ups it is set to be an entertaining and thrilling Saturday afternoon of football.
